One day when Qifeng was 3 years old she disappeared (ناپدید شدن) from the market. Wang and Liu were busy helping people and did not notice that she was suddenly gone. All that day they looked for her but could not find her.

In 2015, Mr. Wang became a taxi driver. He hoped he could find his daughter that way. He told (گفتن) everyone who rode (سوار شدن) with him about his daughter. He even hoped that one day his daughter would be needing (نیاز داشتن) a ride in a taxi and choose (انتخاب کنید) his!
Last year an artist heard about Mr. Wang and his search (جستجو) for his daughter. He wrote Mr. Wang and said he would try to do a portrait (تصویر) of what Qifeng might look like as an adult. He used a photo of Qifeng when she was 3 years old. From the photo he tried to guess (حدس بزن) what she looks like today. The artist's portrait was put on lots of websites.
One day, a woman in the north of China saw the portrait and read the story of the little girl who had disappeared 24 years ago. She read how the girl's mother and father never stopped looking for her. The woman who read the story was shocked (بهت زده), because the portrait looked a lot like her! The woman had been an orphan (طفل یتیم). She lived with adoptive parents (والدین پذیرفته شده) in a town 20 kilometers (12 miles) away from Mr. and Mrs. Wang. Her adoptive parents told her they found her on the road.
